Tutor Bot
Tutor Bot is a Generative AI tool designed to help students revise relevant subject material from Secondary School Mathematics prior to starting tertiary study. The implementation below is specific to preparation for MAST10005 (Calculus 1) at the University of Melbourne. It reviews only material that is relevant to the subject and does so using language and notation that the students will be expected to use in the subject. However the overarching prompt can be easily customised to be useful in a variety of mathematical contexts.

The prompt that defines the parameter of the conversation is structured as follows.
- Define the role of the tutor bot
- Outline areas to review
- Define standards and norms for communication
- Areas to review, including sample questions.
